Chrysler Corp. is closing 789 stores throughout the United States, and 7 of those locations are in the Los Angeles and Ventura Areas. This Post is titled:"The Tax Payer Versus the Tax Payer".
President Obama has the Administration leaders wanting to save the auto industry by bailing out GM and Chrysler 17.4 Billion dollars. Each Company received government bail out money which the money comes from the tax payer. The result of the move of having the public or government now running private companies such as the automobile industry as owners and having or using leverage with tax payer money from the Federal Level now trickles down to hurt other tax payers within the company in other cities.
The Automaker is now bankrupt even after receiving all the tax payer money. Now the people in the company including the government leaders are making the decision to close down stores as they call it down sizing the company.
Glendale Chrysler/Dodge plans to fight the close down and appeal the decision any means necessary (according to the KCAL 9 Reporter at 10:00 5-14-09). The Owner gets the letter in the mail and he has 47 employees under him which all pay taxes on payroll, social security, and some pay taxes on property if one owns one. According the Glendale Chrysler/Dodge, the owner states that he was completely blindsided by the letter, and asks why was his store targeted when it is turning a profit and out performing other dealers. "Astonishment" was the word used from the letter given.
This is bad for the Economy when 47 people have to relocate and look for other jobs when they have already had that secure job. Before this announcement, it appeared as if the economy was improving. When the News Network channel pumps up or exaggerates on how good the economy is, or not talking down the economy as one puts it, the truth of the matter is when stores get closed down from this fashion, it proves that the economy is not doing as good as they make it seem. I thought the economy was getting better until I heard this news report and where it is leading to.
Where is the tax payer money going? How can tax payer money from the Federal Level aiding a company now affect other tax payers penalizing certain tax payers. This concept would put the tax payer versus the tax payer. Then Who is the Tax Payer?
Carson Chrysler, San Fernando, Ventura, Encino are also amongst the dealers where the Corporation sent letters terminating their contracts in the So Cal. areas. According to the Rob Hayes News 7 Report Valley Chrysler in Van Nuys was "blindsided by the news". 7 Car Dealers will soon have to close there doors and that means all those employees that used to pay pay roll taxes to the State will now have that halt until one finds another job. A lot of times finding a job takes time and it costs money, and when a job is found most times one takes a job that is for less money when the employer knows one's applying from a company that went bankrupt, or forced out of business, or a government policy affected one's status. The ripple effect now happens of just those 7 of 789 dealers that got the letter that this Summer they will be forced to close will effect the employees working, and then the state by the taxes that they would be generating from those employees hours and work.
In the Chrysler case, it is a perfect example why the government should not be working in the private sector because there decisions affect the company because they are handing out the printed tax payer money with strings attached. Then other tax payers are affected by the corporate leaders some now government working in the company making the decision to have dealers close using discrimination in the process.
When I heard the CBS News Report on the Evening News, the Team reported a store in New Jersey getting the letter of the 789, but didn't challenge the reasons why this was happening. A lot of people thought and said that the Chrysler company should have been allowed to go bankrupt, then regroup. Some people have not bought Chrysler Cars because they may have not made a car the individual liked. Now its government, and controlled economics going on when the bail out money is now used as leverage to become not only a share holder, but an operations manager from the CEO to the GM all the way down the ladder.
Now the Federal Tax Payer Money going to the Chrysler Company led to people within the company to decide which stores should stay open resulting in the loss of jobs for a lot of people. Glendale Chrysler asked why was his business targeted when he is making a profit, and he wants to know who, and which person or people make the decision to which stores close and which stores don't. Basically those dealers that lease are hurt the most, and only 1 of 7 dealers own the land to where he can convert to another car business, but still.
There has to be a better and more fair way then to send letters in the mail that is now going to affect 40,000 people when all 789 stores are closed eventually. Those that litigate will have to use their own money in the process to cover attorney fees, and court costs for the other side bringing this against their business while Chrysler-government ran Chrysler will use tax payers money to cover there legal costs. Oftentimes in this real sleazy process to cover up the conspiracy itself, the public side will influence the judicial side (and/or the local city government planning side) say if Glendale Chrysler goes to court to get compensated. Instead, it is an attack on that local economy, then it affects the state tax revenues, and when Federal Tax Money's are out weighing the local and state where the state is powerless, it adds up one tax payer at a time when people lose their jobs and the state its revenues. This concept must stop, and the only way to challenge this case for Chrysler, in my opinion is for those dealers that want to stay open: "SUE THE TAX PAYER".
"Sue the Tax Payer" sounds odd, but that is the only thing that would have challenged the bail out money to the banks, and other companies getting all this tax payer money. The news media, the news network, and not one person in the media have ever mentioned a way to challenge all these bail outs. The Automobile Bail Out was also never challenged, and this is the end result which we see just before the President signed into law for Auto makers to manufacture cars that get 31 mpg.
The government on this watch have enhanced Socialist Economics, and what is happening to the 7 dealers in So Cal and those employees now affects State Tax Payer revenues. It is one power versus the other power, and it looks like bad economics to me. Sue the Tax Payer that's the loop hole when the government leaders in congress want to give their favorite companies the peoples money on the federal level. It is like an invasion. The Federal Tax Payer Money being given out to companies such as Chrysler is now colliding with the State Tax Payer revenues, and trickles down to the local tax payer and local economy. In time, where do you think they are going to get the next round of tax money then when abrupt changes occur all from a result of this policy.
www.jamestowncalif.com 5 I feel for those employees under the umbrella of their owners of the dealers that got the letter in the mail forcing their business and service to close. Somebody needs to stand up to the plate. Obviously the news network have not stepped up to the plate. They only report, some of it is accurate, and some of it is just covering up the story itself.
